About
I am a certificated middle school math teacher with a single subject credential in mathematics & over 12 years of classroom experience. I currently teach 7th & 8th grade math. I also tutor students after school & online. I am able to tutor 6th through 8th grade math. I believe that every student is a "math" person because I believe every student learns math by "doing" math. It is in this "doing" of mathematics where students gain more confidence in their problem solving abilities which in turn makes them more confident in their math abilities. Through initial assessment & engaging activities I introduce students to newer math topics as well as taking the time to strengthen topics that they may need more support. We learn together to get better!
