Hello there! I am an aspiring high school biology teacher, currently in my M.Ed. & teaching credential program. After graduating with a B.S. in biology, I took up substitute teaching in grades TK-12. My strengths lie in clear, effective communication and working with students in ways that work for them.

First, I love English! I have been teaching it for the University of California for over ten years. Not only do I tap into English in the classroom, but I am a writer as well (freelance journalist, novelist, and scriptwriter). I am a retired ELA/Special Education teacher from the second largest school district in the nation. I am an expert at study skills. I prepare students on how to approach any topic in school.
