I am a current high school student in Pre-Calculus Honors. I love basic math, however, as I enjoy the simplicity and importance of a good base. I have always recieved an A in every math class I have taken, and have competed successfully in the AMC 8 =, which focuses on basic math and algebra. I would love to work with children who need confidence or stronger abilities in subjects such as Algebra or elementary math.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My typical process for working with a student is assessing their current level of mathematics skills and working with them in synthesis with the school curriculum. I find that when addressing key issues that students have along the course and giving them a basis for the upcoming lessons not only provides confidence in the material, but also a base strength that helps boost them to success.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently a high schooler in Pre-Calculus Honors, which requires a high level of mathematics comprehension. I have gone through the same curriculum as your child, and know the standard level of education required.

I charge 10-15 dollars an hour, depending on the child's level of experience in mathematics and what course they are currently are taking.
