I have extensive experience analyzing and articulating relevant information verbally and in writing, and interacting with people from diverse backgrounds. I have a demonstrated ability to develop positive rapport with students; I have helped students improve math and Language Arts test scores, and have helped them move from failing grades to passing grades; on average 10 percent grade improvement.
I have a passion for coming along side students who have struggled with mathematics or English, helping them to achieve incremental levels beyond their current comfort zone.

I am a math and English tutor with a proven track record. Experience in junior high, high school/GED and intermediate college math. I have 5 years of experience in:
· tutoring students one-on-one in math, English grammar, ESL.
· tutoring students for GED, college placement and CBEST exams.
· tutoring college students—intermediate math.
· tutoring students in English Language Arts in preparation for General Education requirements; helped students develop effective study skills.
