About
I am excited to support my students with their immediate needs. While working with them, I integrate tools that will enable them to be eventually independent of my help.
I aim to teach my students to teach themselves how to learn and overcome any academic obstacles they encounter in the future.
As a recent engineering graduate, I have experienced not having any tutors that teach my difficult courses, or tutors who rely heavely on specific types of learning. To alleviate this, I aim to work with each individual learning style while equipping my students to tackle future courses on their own and graduate from my help!
My background
During my academic career, I served as a tutor and mentor through my university. I have also been doing private tutoring since 2020. I have worked with middle schoolers, high schoolers, and college level students. During community college, I had older peers come to me for help, so I have experience with a wide range of ages.
I hold an International Tutor Certification through the College Reading & Learning Association.
I attended community college before transferring to UC Riverside. I then graduated as one of the top of my class and department at UCR. Throughout my undergraduate studies, I was very involved. Feel free to ask to see my CV.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My typical process begins by asking what the student needs immediate help with. I outline a lesson plan and start the plan on the very first session. I mostly use the first session as a way to observe my students' learning style so I can adjust my approach.
Once I have that, I integrate tools so that my student starts learning how to take initiative on their own progress.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I focus on teaching and supporting my students on most math.
Due to my engineering background, I learned most of the math available in a university. I also have experience tutoring middle schoolers, high schoolers, and college students. I did so through my university and private tutoring. I hold a tutoring certification as well.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing system depends on whether the lessons will be in-person or virtual.
In-Person pricing depends on:
Travel distance
Preparation time (depending on student's needs)
Academic guidance needs
Virtual pricing:
Preparation time (depending on student's needs)
Academic guidance needs
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am very fond of my graduation ceremony. They had the university's marching band playing live, which made me tear up.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should think about their motivation levels and effort they are willing to put in to the lessons. Applying the skills they learn through the lessons is essential.
