My name is Alen Nevarez, and I am currently a student at Oxnard College. One of my favorite subjects has been mathematics, especially Calculus I and Calculus II. I enjoy problem solving and understanding how concepts connect rather than only memorizing formulas.

Through my classes, I have learned the importance of patience, practice, and explaining concepts in different ways to help understanding. I enjoy helping classmates when they have questions and creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable learning and improving.

As a tutor, I want to help students build confidence in their abilities and show them that challenging subjects can become easier with the right support and approach. I am excited for the opportunity to help others succeed academically while continuing to grow as a student myself.
