Hello! I have been an elementary school teacher for the past 26 years and I have been a private tutor, as well as a tutor through my school district for the past 15 years. I currently teach 4th grade GATE. (Gifted and Talented Education) I have a Masters Degree in Education with an emphasis in Reading and I was featured in Education Magazine in February 2018. I have tutored grade levels first grade through sixth in multiple subjects areas. I use assessments and grade level common core standards to create a personalized curriculum for the student. I also use games and engaging activities to make learning fun.
Teaching students to love learning and to be successful is very rewarding.
