I am currently a 4th year Pure Mathematics major who has been placed on the Dean’s List every semester of university. I’ve been working as a tutor for 2 years now, assisting students from elementary to high school levels in mathematics. I am flexible on my approach depending on the needs of the student, whether it be quick refreshers or thorough reviews. After each session, I will provide a quick summary of what topics were worked on and my impressions on the student’s understanding. Outside of tutoring sessions, depending on my availability at the time, I am able to answer quick questions.

As a mom to 4 kids (elementary age through high school), I know the importance of patience and kindness when it comes to learning. With math, even more so. I focus on challenging kids who love math and also taking the student who says “I’m not good at math” and helping them discover they are more than capable.
