About
I've received a dual AA in English and Philosophy from Riverside City College. Im a current srtudent a Cal Sate San Bernardino where I will obtain my BA and my teaching credential. I wish to further my experience in tutroing to better prepapre myself as a future educator.
I have not had much offical tutoring experience. However, I have a passion for teaching students and a general enjoyment of helping them better understand material to achieve their goals.
I enjoy helping students get it. The lighbulb turns on and their eyes sparkle with knowledge. It takes a certain aspect of patience to help students learn and its been a happy and humbling experience.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Typically I ask them or their parents what they think their strengths are so that we can focus on improving the weaknesses.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a dual AA. One of my associates degrees is in English and I am confident in my ability to help with anything pertaining to the subject.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $25 to $40 a session. The price is dependent on whether or not the tutoring session is online or in person.
How did you get started teaching?
I was inspired by my high school ap English literature teacher.

Ages 3-10 as well as my sister who is a junior in high school.

Helping my sister go from a D to a B in her English class.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Patience is key.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
If they can help themselves by becoming more organized through time management and day planners.
