When I was going through elementary and middle school, I struggled in school, more specifically in math. Without all the support from my teachers and the tutors I had, I wouldn't be doing what I love most today. Tutoring brings me so much joy. I look forward to working with each and every one of my students. I have been tutoring for 6 years now. Without the struggles I went through, I probably would not love tutoring as much as I do right now. Seeing my student's progress from when I had just started working with them to a couple of months of working with them is jaw-dropping. I have helped so many of my students who were D's and F's student...

As a college student who is soon to graduate from Mt San Antonio College with an Associates in Social Justice and Sociology, I'm no stranger to a wide variety of academic disciplines. I have a passion for math, science, English, literature and social studies. Originally, I majored in Computer Science at Cal Poly Pomona, but, though I was skilled in programming, I found my interests aligning with the sociology-end of academia. Hi, my name is Samuel, and I completed my Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience at Claremont McKenna College with a 3.96 GPA. During my college years, I had the privilege of working as a teaching assistant for an Introduction to Chemistry course. Concurrently, I provided private tutoring in science, mathematics, writing, and music theory to middle and high school students from local low-income communities. My mission in tutoring is not only to help my students achieve their academic goals but also to instill a genuine appreciation for the subjects we explore together. I believe that fostering curiosity and a love for learning is just as crucial
