Samuel Chan

Hi, my name is Samuel, and I completed my Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience at Claremont McKenna College with a 3.96 GPA. During my college years, I had the privilege of working as a teaching assistant for an Introduction to Chemistry course. Concurrently, I provided private tutoring in science, mathematics, writing, and music theory to middle and high school students from local low-income communities.

My mission in tutoring is not only to help my students achieve their academic goals but also to instill a genuine appreciation for the subjects we explore together. I believe that fostering curiosity and a love for learning is just as crucial as mastering the material itself. During my free time, I enjoy trying different foods with my partner, watching Star Wars, and building Lego sets.
