About
I strive to empower the students that I work with and create a safe space for them to learn and grow. I never focus on simply getting the correct answer. Instead, I help my students enjoy the process of getting the correct answer, and later celebrating their success and growth. My goal is to have every one of my students leave the tutoring session feeling empowered and ready to keep learning.
I enjoy working with children and helping them foster an understanding about the importance of learning. I have worked with kids ages 4-18 over the past 7 years and it has truly been the greatest honor. I have seen children come from backgrounds of being constantly defeated every time they make a mistake, to realizing by the end of the session that their mistakes define their growth!
