About

As a current Stanford undergraduate (class of 2023), I like pushing myself intellectually and would love to encourage others to do so as well. I have previous experience tutoring high schoolers, elementary schoolers through EPATT (East Palo Alto Tennis and Tutoring), and special education scholars with my Grandmother when I was in high school. I am willing and able to tutor in a variety of subjects, including but not limited to: Math ranging from pre-Algebra to Ordinary Differential Equations and Multivariable Calculus, and Science, which includes AP Biology (Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Physiology), AP Chemistry (Up to Introductory Organic Chemistry) and Computer Science (Basic R). I can also tutor Spanish, English (up to advanced Literature), Microeconomics, Government, American, and European History. I have a wide range of experience in standardized testing as well, as I got a 1560 on the SAT, a 33 on the ACT (on my first try), and even a 99 on the ASVAB on my first try, and am willing to share my knowledge of how to take any or all of those tests. Being at Stanford has continued to teach me the value of knowledge, and I am charging only $35 an hour for my services. This is quite a bargain when compared to other Stanford-level tutoring services, which can charge upwards of $60 an hour.

I enjoy watching others succeed, as I surely wasn't able to grow as a person without the aid of others, whether that was as a scholar, a worker, an athlete, or a brother. I also like it when others are not satisfied with "good enough" and decide to push themselves.

Frequently asked questions

Decide what they need to work on by breaking down the subject into topics, and subsequently measuring their success in answering problems per topic.

I have worked with East Palo Alto Tennis and Tutoring for over a year at Stanford, I worked at my old elementary school with special needs children in high school for four years, and I have held numerous jobs both to get me into Stanford and while being an undergraduate student.

$35 an hour

I aspire to be a pediatric neurosurgeon after I graduate Stanford, and I love working with children of all ages. I also have two younger brothers, aged 10 and 5, who teach me patience, and how joyous it can be to work with youth.

High schoolers, elementary students, and special needs elementary schoolers.

As the coronavirus has changed all of our lives inevitably, I have decided to go into the Air Force as an "Aerospace Medical Services Technician" and continue my education at Stanford when I complete my training. This will give me financial backing, a boost to my resume, and the ability to proudly say that I have served my country.

Look for someone who is qualified, able to work with others, and goal-driven.
