I am a retired high school math teacher. I taught Algebra and Geometry for 25 years in the public school system. I was nominated “Teacher of the Year” in 2009. I have a unique style, because I failed math in high school. I understand the anxiety that many students experience in their study of mathematics. I believe that we can all learn if treated with patience! I majored in mathematics education in college and went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education. I feel honored that you would reach out to me to help you in your studies! My goal in working with you is to instill a sense of belief in your abilities and to reduce your anxiety !
