What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I ask them a few questions regarding the school they go to or their interests/hobbies to break the ice and make them feel more comfortable.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a 4th year student at CSULB majoring in Mathematics and have worked as a Math Tutor at QTD International Learning Academy, Sylvan Learning Center, Options for Youth as well as Compton High School.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I require a $40 deposit for the first hour.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students from various backgrounds as well as various mental diagnosis. In terms of different backgrounds, I have worked with students in low income areas, different race/ethnicity, and different age groups ranging from grades K-12 as well as College students. In terms of mental diagnosis, I have 2 years of experience working with students with Autism and ADHD/ADD.
