I'm a first time tutors.com user. I've given tutoring services in math for the past year with my close friends and family. I am looking forward to interacting with people who need assistance with math.
Tutoring people in Math really helps me maintain the math skills I've learned in the past. I am a current college student at San Joaquin Delta College. I have taken up to Calculus II. Since I've been out of math classes for the time being, I think tutoring would be a great way to continue studying math. It's also fun to interact with students or everyday people who share the same love for math.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will ask my peers if there are any particular sections of homework they would like assistance with. I will walk them through the problems.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently a college student at San Joaquin Delta College and have taken up to Calculus II.
How did you get started teaching?
I started tutoring my friends and family on a regular basis.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with college students that range from 20 years old to almost 40 years old.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My coworker needed some help with Geometry homework. He was on the section that introduces trigonometry. I am particularly fond of trig functions.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Don't be afraid to ask for help.
