About
I am remote tutor for biology, biochemistry, reading, writing and trigonometry/geometry!
I also am an experienced peer mentor for college students, I can help with UC Applications, personal insight questions, scholarship applications or just general time management and study skills for college and highschool students.
I love what I do and I love teaching from home. I have a pretty flexible schedule and have years of experience working with children and adults. If you want a judgement free environment to ask questions, get study tips or mentoring, I'm your Gal :)
I have worked with children for over 5 years, working at daycares and summer camps teaching biology and k-12 math and english. I also worked for a year and a half at my local community college as a peer mentor and student instructor for molecular biology, evolutionary biology, trig, geometry, computer skills, and even botany.
I am CRLA Grade 1 certified in tutoring and have an Associates degree in Liberal arts and Science and in Biological sciences. I am currently working towards my bachelors degree in microbiology as well!

I enjoy being able to help people who were initially too scared to ask for help, I want to be a safe space for students of any age or skill level. I also enjoy the feeling of seeing my students succeed, it's one of the best feelings in the world.
I also love connecting with parents and understanding each child's needs. I allow parents to sit in on virtual sessions if they choose to! I use zoom primarily but I am open to google meet or discord!
