Hello to all! I have been a private tutor for over 33 years and tutor most general education subjects including three foreign languages (i.e., Spanish, Japanese, and Tagalog), but my forte is mathematics. With the many years of experiences that I have, I also have experience in working with students with varying disabilities. And the grade levels that I tutor in range from kindergarten through 12th as well as college, returning adults, and some graduate level tutoring (e.g., GRE prep).

As a mom to 4 kids (elementary age through high school), I know the importance of patience and kindness when it comes to learning. With math, even more so. I focus on challenging kids who love math and also taking the student who says “I’m not good at math” and helping them discover they are more than capable. I don’t have a business; however, it has always my dream to teach math and broke most kids mentality “but I hate math, I don’t understand it!.” I wanted to be a HS Calculous Math teacher, but I had unexpectedly had to move out of state. I only had 40 credits to finish too! But we have to be afable and roll with a buntch whatever our day bring us. That said, my goal is to not only tutor math but most importantly, your kid is going to at least have some kind of love for math without math I don't think the world would runs.

Using online resources to support study.

As a college student majoring in Mathematics and Engineering with more than one year of tutoring experience, all of the previous materials are very fresh and relevant in my mind. I have been tutoring student from K-6 where my main focus is to introduce my students to the new concepts, at the same time, being able to reinforce their knowledge. Additionally, I also do science-based curriculum research, and lesson planning for group and one-on-one sessions. Moreover, I have also tutored advanced college courses for more than one year including Algebra, pre-Calculus, Calculus 1,2,3, Linear Algebra, and Physics. As a tutor, I am outgoing, and pati
