What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked as a tutor for several large franchise tutoring corporations, as well as a contract tutor for the US Navy Seabees. I have taught homeschool courses for high schoolers for over 20 years, and homeschool four children (one graduated).
Currently employed at a major university as the academic coordinator for the doctoral programs.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students of all levels and educational styles. In teaching multiple groups, I have developed the ability to find the learning style of each student and impress the need for comprehension and thought engagement rather than mere memorization.
