About

I have been a middle school math teacher for 10+ years working with kiddos to address their fears and assisting them to become better mathematicians.

Everyone is different and no 2 students are the same. With this truth I am always looking to assess what you or your kiddo is in need of then working with you to become not just able to complete math questions but becoming proficient with whatever comes your way.

Mr. Pierre is dependable and consistent. He has excellent communication skills. My student said”I like the way he explains the problem. He guides me through the problem but makes me work for the answer.” Mr. Pierre has been helpful in fostering a more positive attitude towards math for my student.

Mr. Pierre was such a great tutor for my daughter. His ability to hone in on the issue and attention to detail was great. I will definitely use him again if my child needs help.

Frequently asked questions

My process includes an initial conversation and 5 question assessment to determine what area(s) the student needs assistance with and which will inform what next steps and goals can be created.

I have 10+ years as a middle school teacher and recently earning my Master's in Education.

My pricing is $50/session.

I began teaching while working at Emory University in Atlanta Georgia. I taught undergraduate and graduate students. After working there for 4 years I transitioned to middle school kiddos.

I have worked with students ranging from 11 - 15 years old.

A former student of mine has reached to me informing me that she has graduated from college and landed her dream job of working with Delta Airlines as an engineer.

Look for a teacher who has expericene and how they differentiate their tutoring for each student.

It's good to know what areas you need assistance with but it is equally great to know your strengths. Those strengths are building blocks that your teacher and you can both relate too so as to lay the next building blocks moving forward.
