Steele's English And Humanities Tutoring
About
Hi! My name is Alec Steele, and I'm here to help you or your child achieve their academic goals in English, Literature, Writing, Public Speaking, and the Humanities.
I graduated fifth in my class from La Quinta High School in 2015 before attending UC Berkeley to pursue my BFA in Film Studies. After completing my degree as a Sophomore, I was accepted at USC School of Cinematic Arts' Film Production MFA in 2018, where I am currently in my final year. I have been tutoring high school and college students throughout my collegiate studies, both in person and online, to help fund my passion for filmmaking and share my love for media analysis and discussion with other people.
What makes me unique as a tutor is how I am able to use media that my client enjoys as a means of teaching the about the media they've been assigned in the classroom. Although my academic portfolio largely centers in film, I've been an avid consumer of novels, games, comics, and practically every other form of popular media from a young age, and I pull on my knowledge of all those stories to make learning about the humanities engaging, challenging, and fun.
Feel free to text or email me anytime to further discuss my qualifications in a particular field of study or learn more about how I can help you or your child.
