Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Daymond decided to feed the education dog after a cute explanation of the parable that the dog you feed becomes the stronger one. He chose to spend more time reading non-comic-based books and cut down on intense coding to allow his spelling, vocabulary, punctuation, reading comprehension and real-world insight to flourish.
Teaching him to make his own wise decisions is what raising a product human being is all about.
This was a profound teaching moment and Daymond chose well.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Share what your goals are and provide instructions and worksheets, etc.
Provide contents topics and specifc areas of concern with sufficent time for turo to brush up & provide resources if necessary.
Identify what you needs area and what your goals are.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Teachers are different from tutors. A tutor generally has only you to focus on during your time together. A teacher may have other students that compete for face time.
Realizing that a teacher may not have the time or that the personality fit is suboptimal are keys to making the most of everyone’s time with the most harmony.
