About
I am into teaching or tutoring for almost 19 years and this makes me different from the others. Being a mathematics tutor, I am patient and have a strong knowledge of all the concepts in Math that the student might be struggling with. So when you start the tutoring, you must be equipped with knowledge, patience, trust, and patience.
Tutoring is not easy, and what I enjoyed the most in this work is that when I enable the student to learn on his or her own way. Knowledge of the subject is not enough. communication between me and the student is important here. After they can do it on their own, it was fulfilling!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I will ask the parents if they have the tools that we need in tutoring like the document camera, an app that we use to video chat, a pen tab, etc. Next, meeting with the student, the first thing is to set the goal for the whole process of tutoring. This will be our motivation for every meeting. And then ask the teacher about the syllabus, lesson plans, assignments and past exams, and other materials that could give me a better understanding of how the child is doing at school.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering. We had all the different types of Mathematics subjects at different levels of difficulty for 5 years of studying in university. Aside from that, being in love with the subject, I used to watch different Math solving youtube sites to refresh my knowledge, joining different Facebook groups that need math answers help to practice answering different math problems. I also had a Certificate of Teaching and TEFL Certification. I also took the exam of being a Microsoft Office Specialist.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I had a student for 3 years who doesn't like Math when I started tutoring him. But in our 3rd year he needs to have a good mark in the well-known university entrance exam so he could study there. We worked on reviewing and practicing different topics in Math until the time that he took the entrance exams in January 2020. He said he felt confident in taking the test and he knew he will have good marks in it. Just recently, results came out and he was able to pass and with flying colors. I am really proud of him.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Here are some things to consider when finding the right tutor: First is the qualification, he must be a graduate of a course related to the subject area. Experience & expertise in Math must also be a consideration. The passion and personality of the tutor are also equally important.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
