Cosmic English Tutoring is about providing consistent and simple tutoring for students of all levels. We seek to enlighten students with easy to understand literary concepts that can be applied to essays, journals, creative writing and more.
Personally I have always had a skill in English and especially in essay writing. Through tutoring and helping my friends with essays I discovered methods that enable the student to meet the assignments requirements while also using the students own ideas. Every English assignment has a logical format to ensure the highest level of success for students. I was accepted into AP english while in High School and have recieved an A in every English class I have taken since junior year of High School through college general eduacation, in addition I recieved above satisfactory grades in Philosophy courses at the college level which aid in my ability to explain concepts in an easy to understand simple manner that leads to success. I also have experience in speech writing and creative writing and can assist most assignments in a short constructive manner.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Simple questions about the student's experience with the material, where they feel they need the most help, how confident they are in their own english ability, and how they believe they learn the best. Each student is unique in the way they think and we seek to use this as an advantage instead of trying to make all my students subject to the same method of learning.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
High School Degree and on last 4 weeks of completing Associates Degree in Business Administration. Comprehending written material well to ensure whomever receives it after has a clear understanding, this aids in completing most English assignments.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
We have several modules for pricing based off the tutoring needed. Standard $15 dollars an hour, $10 dollars for half an hour, We also offer weekly and monthly tutoring for 5 days a week and an emergency help for last minute assignments at flexible rate based on the assignment and student. For $15 an hour we will look over the material and not start the hour until we have set objectives to complete that will be of most use in continually aiding the student for specific assignments and learning for assignments in the future

What types of students have you worked with?
We've worked mostly with High School and College General Eduacation students. We have reviewed and proof read many papers at the middle school level. We are open to working with students at all age levels as our tutor(s) have experience teaching children ages 4-12 in other areas of study.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Last year I attended the chillest and most vibrant festival, The Ohana Festival. An actual festival on the beach, the event lasted 3 days at Doheny Beach in Southern California. From noon to midnight live music would play while my group enjoyed VIP ammenities from free food and drinks that we got by scanning a colorful bracelet with a barcode. We even got a towel and decorative bracelet. Headlining bands included The Strokes, Eddie Vedder, and The Red Hot Chili Peppers. Everyone in my group made sure to buy a souvenir shirt to remember the festival forever.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Don't overthink it, trust in your ability to pick a teacher that works for you. Notice which teachers interact with you in a way that is most advantagous to your goals. Also be clear with your needs so a teacher can properly meet your needs to satisfaction.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Rationalizing questions of the upmost importance first is a good technique. Writing the question down and even asking the question aloud as being interactive with the question in different ways, helps the student collect their thoughts to ensure they get the most helpful answer to their question. I wouldn't limit questions as the answer appropriates thinking to a closer direction of the desired understanding to complete materuial with more ease.
