Tutoring With Maddy

Hi, I'm Maddy!

I tutor all subjects, but I find that most of my students need the most help with Math. I am comfortable tutoring all academic subjects and my current students range from grades 2-10. I graduated with Honors from Rice University in 2016.

I have been tutoring for the past 5 years and embarked on my journey as a full time tutor starting in 2020. In addition to academic subjects, I also have experience with Test Prep tutoring (SAT, ISEE etc).

I love helping my students to become more confident in their academic abilities. I know how frustrating academics (particuarly Math) can be for so many students, and my goal as a tutor is to give my students tangible tools that they can use to become more effective learners. I like to hold my students accountable to their work, but also am always on their team and hold a vested interest in their success!
