I am young and relatable to kids. I have experience with dealing with children and love working with them. I have experience working with students from gradeschool to college level. I have been trained to cater my teaching methods accordingly. It takes a great deal of emotional intelligence, empathy, and sensitivity to understand the needs of students today in a competitive academic society. I strive for the best and only the best.
I love to interact and socialize with people of all ages. There is always a lesson to be learned from anyone. People come from a variety of backgrounds yet we are all here for the same purpose: to learn, to grow, and to prosper. Nothing makes me happier than to pass on my knowledge to students which will allow them to succeed.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will get to know the students' learning style and cater their learning to that style. I am patient, understanding, personable,a empathetic to their needs. I believe time and effort is the best way to help them learn. Simply lecturing is not enough and is boring for students. Just teaching from examples are not enough as well. A great teacher must make the learning engaging, exciting, and relatable in order for the student to truly absorb lessons.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's Degree in English with an emphasis in Creative Writing. I graduated from San Francisco State University. I have a short story published in a literary journal called Forum by the City College of San Francisco. I have worked together with many published writers as well as literary agents in the publishing business. Also, I have been a tutor at a private tutoring center called PACE Academy. I am familiar with the new grading styles which current grade schools implement and have a good grasp on MLA and APA writing style/formats for the collegiate level.
