I am passionate and gifted in teaching!
I taught in the classroom for the past seven years, and though I am amidst transition and outside of the classroom, I cannot help but teach. It is my joy to connect with students and to facilitate connections between students and the content.
I have taught students aged in preschool through eighth grade in the classroom and have enjoyed every subject under the sun, from math, to drama, to science, to coaching Ultimate Frisbee! While not teaching children, I facilitate adult workshops. I simply love learning and inspiring others to do the same!
As a teacher I was nominated by my Principal for Teacher of the Year. I am a highly qualified teacher with a cleared Multi-Subject Credential and seven years of classroom experience.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Teaching is primarily based on relationship. I first get to know the student and learn their passions, their likes and dislikes, and their strengths. Identifying a student's primary types of intelligence is crucial, as there are many and it is important for every student to know their strengths and to work from them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have seven years of classroom experience and a lifetime of working with children in and out of various camps, church groups, and leadership opportunities.
