About
I use research-based strategies to identify a student’s needs and provide a personalized approach to learning. While completing my undergraduate degree in neuroscience, I gained experience in research relating to student needs, learning and mental health. I’ve also completed professional training in personalized teaching strategies.
My background allows me to meet students where they’re at and work with them to make learning a fun experience.
My curiosity and passion for learning was a gift to me from parents, teachers and mentors. I enjoy learning, but nothing beats sharing my curiosity with others.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I meet the student at their current level of understanding and develop educational strategies based on individual needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated in 2018 from the University of Vermont with a B.S. in neuroscience. During my undergraduate studies, I received formal training in education and taught at local high schools. I'm currently serving as a student success coach for middle school students with City Year San Jose/Silicon Valley under Americorps.

Educational training at the University of Vermont.
