Martinez Tutoring

I am credentialed in California and in Arizona as a Mild-Moderate Educational Specialist (Special Education). I am also certificated to Teach English as a Second Language (TESOL) I received degrees in Sociology and in Business Management, and have a masters degree in Special Education. I have been tutoring and teaching for over ten years, and have helped students in a wide variety of fields, from K-12 to college students.

Each lesson is structured to assist students in learning the subject matter at hand, while actively involving them in the process. During a tutoring session especially, it is my goal to help the student find the answers on their own, reteaching as needed. The goal is to ultimately build their own problem solving skills, as well as their mastery of the subject, while empowering them to take an active role in their own education.
