English Tutor

I’ve been working with students as a peer tutor since I was in middle school and have worked with students of all ages throughout my own schooling to help them in areas they struggle with or simply with different approaches to the material that may have been presenting in unclear ways. I just got my master’s degree in English from Sacramento State and I worked as a graduate discussion leader during my time there.

I enjoy working with students to further their understanding. I have always volunteered as a tutor because I found that many students just need a little extra help to get them back on track. I originally started as a peer tutor, helping my friends but decided to pursue teaching because I enjoyed the work.
