Type Away! Tutoring
About
I like to focus on students comfort and improving their writing weakpoints and strengthening their strong points.
The best part of this job is the sudden "a-ha!" moment when students understand that they are capable of achieving more than they thought possible.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My typical process with new students involves a lot of communication. I like to get a feel of my students personalities including the best way they like to learn and focus, including how comfortable they are in the enviornment in which they are being taught (do they feel comfortable learning with people around, do they prefer a quieter room).
I also ask them about their homework. What they already understand, what they need help on. What they believe are their weak points and strong points.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currenlty a sophmore college student. I am currently a tutor for adults at a library. I help them improve on their reading & writing and ESL.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $20 per session, however I am willing to negotiate the price. I don't go lower than $10.
