Sunnybrook Academics

Hi there! My name is Adrian, and I’m the owner of Sunnybrook Academics. I’m currently a college student with over three years of tutoring experience working with students from elementary through high school.

I specialize in K–8 math and English reading/writing instruction. I also offer support with Spanish reading/writing. In addition, I have extensive experience supporting students with autism, ADHD, speech difficulties, and other learning challenges. My goal is to create a patient, encouraging, and engaging learning environment where every student feels supported and capable of success.

I believe learning should be personalized, meaningful, and enjoyable. What sets my tutoring services apart is my ability to adapt lessons to each student’s individual learning style, strengths, and needs. No two students learn the same way, so I tailor each lesson to meet the student where they are academically and emotionally. I often incorporate students’ personal interests into lessons to help increase engagement, confidence, and motivation.

In addition to academic growth, I strive to help students build confidence, independence, and a more positive mindset toward learning. I believe we are all lifelong learners, and I love helping students discover that learning can be fun when approached the right way.

I also value strong communication with parents and welcome feedback throughout the learning process. I take parents’ goals for their children into careful consideration and work collaboratively to support each student’s progress and long-term success.
