I really value the student individually and would work that their own pace. I want to bring out their critical thinking skills as well and see what they are capable of!
I have a Bachelors of Arts in Child and Adolescent Development from San Francisco State University. I also obtained a Masters in Science of Education in Teaching and Learning from the University of the Southwest.
I really enjoy how each student brings new concepts, creativity and ways of learning! I truly value how students can express their thoughts and I want to bring out the best in them!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I usually want to get to know them as a person! I want to know their strengths and weaknesses when it comes to subjects in school! Not only do I want to know where they are developmentally within their academics, but I also want to know what they like to do outside of school; whether they have hobbies. I want to bring out their full potential!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I currently tutor children in grades K-3. This gives me the great opportunity to work with them at their own pace with the specific subject we are working on. Not only do I tutor children; but I just graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Child & Adolescent Development (with a special concentration in school age children and families). I also obtained a Masters in Science of Education in Teaching and Learning from the University of the Southwest. I will use my degree to better help children in school.
