I very much enjoy teaching.
I am an engineer with doctoral degree in applied math (Operations Research). My day-job is to lead a Data Science team for a large corporation in Bay area. I prefer to teach, only during weekend.
I enjoy the "Aha" moments when kids understand new concepts and start exploring/thinking about new applications and also eager to move onto next level of training.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
After meeting with the student, I need to understand his/her needs, specific areas math to focus for increasing the proficiency and any other goals student may have. Based on these info, I will build the lesson plan.
