Hello,
I have been in the education field for over 20 years as a classroom teacher, teacher's aide and virtual and in-person homeschool teacher and tutor. I seek to create lessons that are hands-on and engaging and help students think outside the box. I am based in California and provide in-person locally within Los Angeles/Mar Visa areas but I also provide online tutoring via Zoom, allowing me to support students throughout the United States.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I spend the first few lessons making observational notes on where the student is at academically. Thus, using the core teaching standards, I create lessons that fill in any gaps so the student works towards being near/at grade level .
