I believe in structure, just as much as I believe in fun, when it comes to learning. I've worked as a mentor, coach, teacher, and nanny for students ranging from ages 6 to 18.
I enjoy helping people overcome their obstacles both personally and educationally. It's what motivates me. When I see someone that I helped overcome something that has been difficult for them for a very long time, there is no greater feeling.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Very first thing I do is find out what their strengths are and where they need to improve. I try to figure out their aprehension when it comes to learning and how we may work together to overcome them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a former high school teacher, teaching kids English Literature and Grammar, Film, and Photography. I am California Safeline Certified, as well as CPR/First Aid certified.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I usually charge $50/hr per person. If there is a need for more than one student at the same time, we can work on a group rate.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with students from 5 to 18 years old. I've worked with people with dyslexia, adhd, and other learning differences.
