Greetings
My name is Johnny Kreidi. I am majoring in engineering and mathematics. I have taken many Math and Statistics courses during my first two years at college. I have got straight A's. In addition, I have experience in tutoring Math and Statistics for almost a year. I took statistics last semester, and I really enjoyed. I got a solid A and I still remember everything well. The price per session includes helping doing homework, preparing for exams by doing practice, explaining concepts that seem hard to you, giving you problems for practice, and answering any other question you have. I have helped dozens of student struggling in Mathematics and Statistics, and I know where students get stuck and how to help them to feel better in doing Mathematics. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I introduce myself to a student and welcome him/her to make him/her comfortable. I make sure that any new student feels welcome and close to me so he/she is not embrassed or shy. Second, I ask about the problem that he/she needs to solve or concepts that need to understand. I ask what is unclear. I provide the necessary explanation. Then, I ask him/her few questions to make sure he/she understands what I explain. I encourage any new student to do few practice problems and give him/her plenty of time for questions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken many hard Math courses at my college in order to complete my degree in mathematics and statistics, sucb as multivariable calculus, linear algebra, differential equation, and etc. I have also one year experience in tutoring at my previous college.
