Jacob's Tutoring

Hi! I'm Jacob. I offer tutoring services in AP Computer Science A homework and exam prep, Java programming, and algebra.

I received a 5/5 on AP Computer Science A exam and a classroom grade of A+. I have 4+ years of experience working with kids, including working with grades K-8 at Adventure Day Camp as a counselor and kayaking instructor, teaching English to 11th and 12th graders in Costa Rica on a volunteering trip, and volunteering as a junior counselor at Lafayette Recreation's Camp Awesome for 2 years. I want to help your student build their own analytical reasoning skills using guiding questions and analogies, but will also tailor my tutoring style to your student to find the best way to communicate concepts and build understanding. Because I am new to the tutoring business, I offer competitive prices.
