We are going to work together on critical reading, analysis, developing original ideas, and explaining them in thesis or topic driven papers. From brainstorming to creating outlines, we will work together at connecting ourselves to the material you have been assigned and orginzing ideas about it.
I have spent the past year doing this at the college level and I am confedent that you and I can do it as well.
In 2018, I earned my M.F.A. in Writing from the University of San Francisco.

I love writing and I love ideas. There is nothing that pleases me more than working with a student to help them develop and organize their ideas on the page. If you work with me, we are going to collaborate and we are going to have a good time doing it.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, we will have a conversation about how the student feels about what they have been asked to read and/or write.
If the student is having a hard time connecting with the material we will work on creating connections or developing a general understanding in regards to what the material is about.
Depending on how far along the student is with the assignment, we will work on brainstorming ideas and organizing them in an outline.
When an outline has been established, we will work together on writing out a section of the assignment. If necessary, we will look at a sample paper together to asses its strengths, weaknesses, and organization.
