Hello! My name is Nicholas, but you can call me Nick or Niko. I've been tutoring since 2010, and have worked with children from Kindergarten to High School! I earned a full academic scholarship at the University of San Diego where I studied Finance and Biology. I then worked as a behavioral therapist, teaching kids with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). I later completed an MA in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University.
I specialize in ACT and SAT prep, GRE and GMAT prep, math, English, science, and history. I love tutoring because it allows me to share my love of learning with others!
I stand out as a tutor because I tailor each lesson plan to the needs and interests of the specific student - no two lessons will ever be the same! I welcome parent feedback and will often solicit parental advice when it comes to creating engaging lessons.
