Storytellers Claremont (write And Speak Like A Pro!)
About
Writing is my thing. Storytelling too. I’m unique in that I have a teacher’s mind and can actually convey essential writing, storytelling and public speaking skills in a manner that is challenging, but also fun. I currently write for the newspaper with the largest circulation in the U.S. (The Wall Street Journal). I tell stories all over the country on The Moth main stage. My latest story was featured on the nationally broadcast “The Moth Radio Hour.” My students are loyal and we tend to work together as they progress through the challenges of honors classes, term papers, applications of all sort, masters and doctoral theses, novels, memoirs, personal essays and major speeches and creative or business storytelling.
I love to teach and have taught at the university level at some of the best schools in the country including Columbia University, The New School University, the City University of New York (all in NYC), Vanderbilt University in Nashville and others.

It matters. Giving someone the tools to communicate better enhances their lives personally, professionally and in every way. I’m lucky to be able to facilitate and witness the change.
