About
I like to form a strong connection between my students and I as I believe that often one of the undervalued keys to tutoring success is students' comfort level in regards to speaking and asking questions with a tutor. I have taught students of all ages and I am comfortable with communication, however, due to the pandemic, I am only offering online tutoring for right now. I have a very flexible schedule and it is possible to cater to your schedule so that dates and times will work out smoothly. When it comes to teaching, I like to fuse various techniques altogether that accomodates my students' learning. Because I am a young tutor, I understand the struggles of learning and especially with distance learning, students may suffer academically and emotionally. I only want the best for my students and strive to help them achieve and succeed.
I enjoy being able to help students learn or better understand concepts or skills that they used to struggle with. It makes me happy being able to see an improvement in development for them because personally I love working to grow each and every day.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When it comes to working with a new student, I like to start off by chatting to get to know who I am working with, not just as a student, but as a person. This allows me to be more comfortable when working with my students and can also be used to formulate incentives, if necessary. By understanding who my student is, our tutoring sessions can run a lot smoother and more successfully. In addition, I do ask the student the area or subject that is hindering academic achievement and what they are excelling in.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Throughout elementary school, I was often teaching and helping my peers with concepts or lessons that they struggled to grasp. As I aged on into junior high, I continued teaching others by joining a tutoring club on whatever area or subjects that were causing difficulties, so I have a broad range when it comes to the content I am able to teach. In high school, I have taught others through a similar club as well.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My standard pricing system for my lessons is $20 per hour for one student.
How did you get started teaching?
I actually started teaching because of my younger brother. Growing up, we were always very close and I was really determined to share my knowledge with him. My parents have videos of me teaching him the alphabet, the colors of the rainbow, and other details and from there on, my love for teaching grew.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students of various ages, although none older than junior high.
