About
Hi there, if you're looking for someone who not only cares about your mathematical understanding but is also able to work on the related math skills holistically then I'm your guy. I'm a firm believer in teaching whatever the student currently needs, but to also supplement their understanding in any area they could use more work in. I love working with students both accelerated and behind the curve and am always willing to try and frame the material in a way that will best fit my student.
I enjoy watching the student understand math better as it is my belief that any student can learn math at the desired level so long as they keep practicing the fundamental skills.
As someone who has taught classes and tutored for over 7 years nothing gives me more joy than when a student finally understands the material.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The process is generally: 1) I try to generally get to know my student in order to build a good teacher-student relationship 2) An informal assessment of the current skills related to their math subject 3) Addressing the most current needs the student has followed by trying to teach the fundamental concept in a way that the student will not need me in the future.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
For formal training there is not much, but I have been tutoring since 2017 and currently am a private school teacher.
I have spent over hundreds of hours personally going through many textbooks to help breakdown the concepts better
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
The standard rate if $40 per hour for all high school mathmatics, $60 per hour for Calculus/AP Calculus
