Emily Tutors

I am a graduate student in Forensic Science at California State University, Los Angeles, with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from California Lutheran University. Alongside my studies, I have worked in a school setting for the past four years, helping students build confidence and succeed across a variety of subjects.

Teaching has always been a passion of mine. I've been tutoring and helping classmates, friends, and family with their studies since middle school, giving me years of experience explaining concepts in ways that are engaging and easy to understand.

What I love most about my work is seeing the moment when a concept finally clicks for a student. Watching their confidence grow and seeing the excitement in their eyes when they realize they can do something they once found difficult is incredibly rewarding.

What sets me apart is my personalized approach to tutoring. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to fit each individual's needs, strengths, and learning preferences. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to build the confidence and problem-solving skills they need to become independent, successful learners.
