About
I have over 20 years of experience teaching K-12 students in the LA Unified School District and know how to make lessons "come to life" by showing students how material being presented relates/connects to the real world. This in turn allows them to retain lessons better in general, and especially when it comes to test preparation.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My teaching philosophy is to motivate students to embrace course material by providing them with real-world examples that illustrate why the information being presented is both relevant to their lives, as well as practical in terms of their being able to get through life on a daily basis.
I also believe in sharing my own feelings of excitement when I myself learn something new while presenting the material.
Overall, I think it best to create an atmosphere in the classroom that makes students feel like we are all on the “same team” and always working together to learn and discover new, exciting and useful things about the world around us.
