Stanford Graduate Tutoring
I am a recent Stanford University graduate with degrees in Comparative Literature and International Relations. I graduated with a 3.9 GPA, with honors and distinction, and am excited to help your child succeed in school! My expertise is in essay writing.
I also have a fair amount of experience in helping with application essays for colleges and scholarships. My previous students have been accepted to schools like Harvard, Columbia, and MIT.
My favorite aspect of tutoring is helping students achieve their goals!
Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I am very flexible with my approach and cater to what a student and family needs. I have my own car and am happy to tutor at a student's home as well.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have tutored a wide variety of individuals ranging from elementary kids to Stanford undergraduates. I believe everyone has the potential to succeed if they are willing to put in the work. Let me help you get that superb grade!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I start at 50$ per hour. As I prepare and save for graduate school, I prefer to stay close to this range. Though there is some wiggle room, I unfortunately am not in the position to go far from this amount.
I am happy to charge much less for the first session, so that you may see if I am a good fit for your particular situation.
