About
Teaching runs in my family, and I proudly continue that tradition with over 27 years of experience teaching high school and university-level mathematics. My teaching portfolio includes a wide range of courses such as Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Precalculus, Calculus, and Statistics. In addition to classroom teaching, I serve as a mentor and coach to fellow math educators, supporting instructional growth and student achievement.
I hold a California teaching credential in Mathematics and two master’s degrees—one in Mathematics and another in Educational Leadership.
What brings me the greatest joy is witnessing the moment when a student has an “aha!” moment—when a concept clicks and their confidence grows. That spark is what I strive for in every session.
I deeply believe that everyone is capable of learning math. Unfortunately, our society often sends the message that it’s okay not to be “good” at math. I work to counter that narrative by creating a supportive, judgment-free environment where students can overcome math anxiety, build perseverance, and discover their own ability to succeed. My goal is not just to help students understand math, but to help them believe in themselves.
