What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We go over an initial assessment of what the student needs. Then once we go over the assignment/project/general needs of the student, we then determine which tutor is right for them. We ensure that we match the right student to the right tutor, and if the student is not 100% satisfied, we will replace their tutor for free. As being a parent we know what is wanted and needed to help students and families succeed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Perry Miles, founder and CEO of Miles Smart Tutoring Inc., is a certified teacher in Florida. He has over a decade of personal tutoring experience outside of his own professional pursuits in entrepreneurship, journalism and sports broadcasting. He ultimately left the industry because he wanted to help make a difference for students and aspiring young professionals.
All of the tutors at Miles Smart Tutoring have been individually assessed and trained to be top level educational professionals. Our tutors range from ex-business executives, to recent college graduates, to certified educational professionals. We pride ourselves in hiring tutors from all walks of life, so that we can bring forth our experiences to further enrich the tutoring sessions.

The pricing system is based on the degree of difficulty of the subject and the hourly package that is purchased. Pricing is the same regardless of location (whether it is online or in-person).
What types of students have you worked with?
We have worked with (and continue to work with) all types of students ranging from elementary school through to the graduate school level.
