Maryann Teaching & Co.
About
I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of California, Berkeley, pursuing a rigorous course of study in Mathematics and Physics, with substantial academic proficiency in Biology. I have successfully completed sixteen Advanced Placement examinations, earning the highest possible score of five on fourteen of them, reflecting both academic excellence and sustained intellectual discipline across a broad range of subjects.
My approach to education is deeply informed by pedagogy. Having been raised by a parent who is a professional educator, I was exposed from an early age to effective instructional strategies, differentiated teaching methods, and the importance of adapting material to suit diverse learning styles. This foundation has enabled me to communicate complex concepts with clarity, precision, and accessibility.
Throughout high school, I maintained an exceptionally demanding schedule, balancing competitive athletics, leadership roles in multiple student organizations, and participation in academic research. These commitments necessitated the development of highly efficient, evidence-based study techniques and time-management strategies, which I now explicitly teach to my students in order to foster both academic success and intellectual independence across all subject areas.
