I have a background in theater and I incorporate various acting exercises in my tutoring sessions in order to help the student feel more relaxed and be able to practice the language comfortably. I use familiar topics, songs, poems, games and phyical activities to create a more engaging and fun learning environment. Most of all, I pride myself on being relatable and supportive. Let's learn!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to spend a few minutes getting to know my student by discussing things they like, what they need help with and what they want to achieve. I'm a pretty funny guy, so I try to make them laugh to alleviate some of the anxiety that is common with language learning. I like to incorporate games and multimedia as both examples and fun ways to intake new information.
